Weekends are BUSYYYYY. On the really busy days, the crowds can congest the walking paths and there will be a line up of people waiting to go up & come back down the elevator. The best days for shooting at The Leaf are weekdays... preferably Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. If you are only available on a weekend for your shoot, not to fear! With a little extra patience during your shoot we can still get great photos with no one in the background... it just requires some extra time at the shoot to work around the crowds!

The air in the tropical biome is HOT & humid!! Come dressed in summer attire and make sure to avoid wearing fabrics & colours that show sweat stains easily (ie. no grey cotton t-shirts). But overall, I always tell my clients to not worry during their shoot... even though it will feel super hot, you won't LOOK as sweaty as you will FEEL! I promise I will make sure you look impeccable!

Just a fair warning for anyone that plans to style their hair, curls do not hold well in the humidity. So make sure to add a little extra hairspray!

Bring a water bottle for after your shoot. It's super hot in there and I can guarantee you will be thirstyyyy after your shoot is over!

Pack light! There are no locked or guarded areas to leave belongings while walking around in the biome. So try to avoid bringing big bags of items (leave in your car if possible). That way you can enjoy exploring and taking photos without worrying about carrying your bags around with you.
