As a photographer, some of my favourite photos happen when we let the moments unfold naturally. This family shoot on stunning Prince Edward Island was no exception.
We began our adventure on the road into the beach, where we couldn’t resist pulling over for a few quick shots. With the golden light streaming through the trees and the quiet charm of the red dirt road as our backdrop, it was the perfect way to start the session. Little miss Addison even got to take the wheel and “drive” the family car to our parking spot, a moment filled with her big smiles and giggles that truly set the tone for the rest of the evening.
Next, we explored a picturesque spot near the windmills and a serene pond. The family twirled and danced, shared cuddles, and had plenty of giggles... the kind of simple, heartfelt interactions that make these family photo shoots so special.
As the sun began its descent, we followed the path to the beach where we ended the session with sandy toes, windswept hair, fun blanket games, and the most stunning sunset painting the sky in hues of orange and pink.
