January 21, 2022 was the day I got to marry the love of my life! It was so surreal to finally be on the "other side" of the wedding planning process and to be a bride myself! Our elopement day was an absolute dream! We started off by doing our first look on the Lynn Canyon Suspension bridge, hanging almost 200 feet in the air over a rushing river. We then hiked to an off the beaten path spot for our intimate ceremony where we exchanged rings, said our formal "I do's" and signed our marriage license on each others backs. We then zipped off in our white Ford Mustang rental racecar to Pitt Meadows where we explored the sky with Sky Helicopter. We did a backcountry landing at the base of a waterfall where we did bridal portraits, a champagne pop and downed some tasty local BC beers! Shoutout to our AMAZING pilot, Tom! After our "in the clouds" adventure, we grabbed some pizza and headed to our final location of the day, Golden Ears Provincial Park, where we hiked to a mountainous lake view spot to exchange our personal vows. We finished our elopement day off with a first dance after sunset in front of the Mustang's headlights in the rain. ♥
